PIPING HOT
Four Star One-Woman Show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
Piping Hot is essentially a first timer’s bagpipes lesson, but writer, comedian, and bagpiper Madeleine Hamilton teaches about the bagpipes through true stories of her sexual escapades. You see, she’s American, and along with the bagpipes and a pile of kilts purchased on Amazon, she has brought her country’s trademark lack of propriety and chronic horniness. Each part of the bagpipes unfortunately reminds her of a man from her past, and you know she’s going to talk about it. She will weave a narrative of her search for love and coping with heartbreak against the backdrop of her true love: the loudest instrument ever.
